Accessibility

In alignment with the goal of the Ontario Government to make Ontario barrier free by 2025, Ontario Health (Trillium Gift of Life Network) supports the full inclusion of persons with disabilities as set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005.

The purpose of the AODA is to develop, implement and enforce standards for accessibility related to goods, services, facilities, employment, accommodation and buildings. The AODA requirement will be implemented in phases with a target completion date of January 1, 2025.
