National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week (NOTDAW)

National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week (NOTDAW) takes place during the second last week of April each year. NOTDAW is always an important occasion throughout the province where a growing list of activities helps to increase awareness of organ and tissue donation.

Cultural and Religious Perspectives

Faith and ethno-cultural beliefs can be barriers to families considering donation. Collaborating with community leaders in the promotion of strong faith and culturally-based rationale for organ and tissue donation is an ongoing community relations effort with Trillium Gift of Life Network staff.
