Volunteering

Trillium Gift of Life Network depends on committed volunteers in communities all across Ontario to help increase public awareness and education of organ and tissue donation. Transplant recipients, members of donor families, living donors, individuals waiting for a transplant and those who believe in the importance of organ and tissue donation can help spread the message of giving the gift of life.

Whether you have a special connection to organ and tissue donation or transplantation, or are simply interested in promoting awareness of this important issue so that more lives can be saved, we would be pleased to have you as part of the Trillium Gift of Life Network volunteer network.

Provincial Volunteer Committee:
To help support volunteers in their efforts, Trillium Gift of Life Network established a Provincial Volunteer Committee. The Committee provides guidance and support for volunteers, new awareness and education activities, as well as provides insights into the opportunities and challenges of promoting organ and tissue donation in large and small communities.

Resources:
To help support community awareness activities, Trillium Gift of Life Network has developed a number of resources and materials promoting the importance of registering consent to be an organ and tissue donor, and ensuring family members understand and support each others wishes.
